PrepHint AI turns the speech on your call into text, and that includes what the other people say. This page explains what that means for you.
What PrepHint AI does
- It transcribes the interviewer and anyone else you share the call sound with, as well as you.
- We do not save the audio of your calls.
- The transcript is saved so you can read it afterwards. You can switch transcript saving off for a call.
What is up to you
- In some places the law says everyone on a call must agree before it is recorded or transcribed. The rules differ by country and, in some places, by state.
- Your employer, school or the interviewer may have rules too, for example that no tools are allowed.
- Getting that agreement and following those rules is your job. If you are not sure, ask the other people on the call before you start, or practise with a mock interview instead.
We show a short note on the page before you start a live call. A mock interview has no other person on it, so it has no note. It is there to remind you. It does not ask you to tick anything and it never stops a call from starting.
