Share the sound of your call

In a live session PrepHint AI hears the interviewer through the sound your browser shares. You choose what to share in your browser’s own box.

The surest way

1. Open your call (Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom) in a browser tab.
2. In PrepHint AI, start the session and choose that tab in the browser’s box.
3. Tick Share tab audio (the words differ a little between browsers) and share.

A call in a browser tab always works this way.

If your call is in its own app

Share your whole screen and tick the box to share sound. This works on many computers, but not on all. Some computers, Linux for one, share no sound from the screen. If PrepHint AI says the shared screen has no sound, open the call in the browser instead.

Sharing stopped or has no sound

• Did you choose a tab and not a window? A window often carries no sound.
• Is the tab muted, or its volume turned down? Turn it up.
• Did you stop sharing from the browser’s bar? Start the session again and share again.

If you cannot share at all, use listen-only mode.
