How it works
Download and install
Download the app for Windows 10 or 11. It installs for your Windows account, with no administrator rights.
Sign in and set up
Sign in with your PrepHint AI account. Choose your resume, the job post and how answers should sound.
Join your call
The app hears the sound of your PC and your microphone, so there is no browser tab to share.
Press Ctrl and Enter
A full answer is written in the window over your call, ready to read aloud.
Stealth mode keeps PrepHint AI out of your screen share.
In the desktop app, the PrepHint AI window is left out of screen sharing and recording in most apps. It is on for every call. Outside a call, switch on Private in the app's menu.

Keys that work during the call
They work while your meeting app has the keyboard, so you never click away from the call.
You can change the keys for Answer and Hide in the app.

A window that fits round your call
- Clicks go to your call
- The window takes clicks only on its toolbar and the answer. Everywhere else, your clicks reach the call.
- See-through background
- Set the background from 20% to 100%, so you can see the call behind it.
- Move it where you want
- Drag the toolbar, resize the answer, or send the window to another screen.
- One account
- Your resumes, sessions and minutes are the same as on the web.
Good to know
- For Windows 10 (version 2004 and later) and Windows 11. The result depends on the program that captures the screen, and older Windows can show a black box instead. Not in the browser or on Mac.
- On a Mac, use PrepHint AI in your browser.
