This page sums up what PrepHint AI stores and what it does not. It is a short guide, not the full legal text: the privacy notice is the complete and binding account of what we keep, who handles it and your rights.
PrepHint AI is an AI interview assistant. It writes answers from your own resume and job description, so it holds some personal material. Here is what happens to it.
What is stored
- Your account. Your email address and your settings.
- Resumes, documents and job details. The files you add are stored in private cloud storage.
- Transcripts. The transcript of a call, your questions and the answers are saved so you can read them afterwards, unless you switch saving off for a call. The transcript of a mock interview is always saved.
- Technical data. Logs and measurements about how the service performs, such as request times and error reports. They contain ids, lengths, counts and durations, and never the words of your calls, your resume or your email address.
What is not stored
- Call audio. We do not save the audio of your calls or mock interviews. While a call runs, your browser sends the sound to a speech-to-text provider, and text goes to an AI model to write suggested answers. The privacy notice names the kinds of providers we use.
- Your data is not sold. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your transcripts, resumes or answers to show you advertising.
Deleting your data
You can delete a resume or a document from its list in the app, and its text and file are removed. You can delete a session, and switch transcript saving off for a call. Other people on your call
A live call can contain what another person said, such as an interviewer. Your duties towards that person are in the terms.
Use it where AI help is allowed. PrepHint AI is made for practice and for conversations where help from AI is allowed. Check the rules of the employer and the interviewer before you use it in a real interview. If the answer is no, use it to practise.
