A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in much the same way. This page explains, in general terms, how PrepHint AI uses them and the choices you have.
The kinds of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary. These make the website and the app work: keeping you signed in, remembering your choices and keeping your account secure. Without them the service cannot work, so they do not need your consent.
- Analytics. These help us understand how people find and use our website, and how well our own advertising works, so we can improve the service. We do not show advertisements on our site.
We do not sell information collected through cookies.
Your consent
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we set no analytics cookies until you press Accept on our cookie card. If you press Decline, none are set.
- Everywhere else, analytics cookies are on by default. You can decline at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of any page of the website.
- If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decline, everywhere.
Your choice is remembered in your browser, so we do not ask again on every page.
Other companies
When you pay, or sign in with an account from another company, those companies may set their own cookies on their own pages. Their own notices explain them.
How long they last
Cookies last from the end of your visit up to one year, depending on what they are for. A sign-in cookie ends when you sign out or your session expires.
Your choices
- Change your answer at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of any page of the website.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the service, such as signing in, will not work.
