How it works
Add your material
Upload your resume once. Add the job description and any notes you want it to use.
Join your call
Open your call in a Chrome or Edge tab and share that tab, with its sound, with PrepHint AI. In the desktop app there is no tab to share.
Press Answer
When the interviewer asks a question, press Answer. A full answer is written from your material, ready to read aloud.
Read it back
The transcript is saved so you can read it later. You can switch saving off.
Make the answers sound like you
- Answer length
- Short, Balanced or Detailed.
- Tone
- Conversational, Simple or Professional.
- Format
- An opening line with points, points only, or paragraphs only. Points only gives you short hints instead of a full answer.
- STAR method
- Switch it on to shape answers as situation, task, action and result.
- Screenshots
- Take a screenshot of the shared tab when a question is shown on screen, and get an answer to it.
- Your own question
- Type a question and press Ask.
- Live transcript
- Both sides of the call are written out as you talk, so you can follow the question and read back what you said.
Good to know
- An answer is written when you press Answer. Nothing appears by itself.
- In the browser it needs Chrome or Edge on a computer. On a phone or a tablet it can only listen through the microphone.
- One call lasts at most 2 hours on Weekly, 3 hours on Monthly and Yearly, 4 hours on Unlimited.
- A call is held in one of the languages on our supported languages page, chosen before it starts.

What is an AI interview assistant?
It listens to your interview call and, when you press Answer, writes a full answer on your screen from your own resume, the job description and your notes, ready to read aloud.
Is it all right to use AI in an interview?
Only where AI help is allowed. Check the rules of the employer and the interviewer first. If the answer is no, use PrepHint AI to practise instead.
Does it use my resume and the job description?
Yes. Answers are written from the resume, the job description and the notes you add, so they sound like you.
Does it answer by itself?
No. An answer is written when you press Answer, or when you type your own question and press Ask.
Can I use it on a phone?
On a phone or a tablet it can only listen through the microphone. For the full set-up, use Chrome or Edge on a computer, or the Windows desktop app.
