Alignerr says that some of its jobs include extra steps such as a Zara interview or domain assessments, and that you are told if one applies to you. Its own pages do not say how long the interview is or what its rules on AI help are. You can prepare by practising role questions out loud and testing your equipment. Checked 30 October 2026.
What Alignerr is and how applying works
Alignerr is a platform that lists AI-related contract jobs. Its process page lists these steps. Checked 30 October 2026.
- Sign up and upload your resume.
- Apply for a job that matches your skills.
- Verify your phone number and complete identity verification.
- Sign the contract in the Alignerr app and set up payment.
- Complete onboarding.
The same page says that some jobs may need additional steps, such as a Zara interview or domain assessments, and that you will be told if this applies to you.
What we could not confirm
Alignerr’s own FAQ and process pages did not say how long a Zara interview is, whether it is recorded, whether you can retake it, or whether Alignerr has a rule on AI help during it. We could not confirm these from Alignerr’s own pages, so we do not state them. Read your invitation, and Alignerr’s FAQ and terms, for the current details. Zara is also the name of micro1’s AI recruiter, but we have not confirmed that the two interviews work the same way. You can read what micro1 says on its own pages in our micro1 guide.
Get ready before you apply
The process page puts identity verification before the contract, so have your phone and a photo ID to hand when you reach that step. Make sure your resume lists your skills and domain clearly. If you have not updated it in a while, Resume Maker can help you tidy the wording, and our guide to an ATS-friendly resume explains how to keep the file easy for software to read.
Questions of the kind you may be asked
These are practice questions of a common type, not questions taken from Alignerr.
- Tell me about your background and the area you know best. A good answer picks one domain, gives an example and says what you can do with it.
- Describe how you check work for accuracy. A good answer names the steps you take and how you decide when something is good enough.
- Here is a short passage. How would you judge whether it is clear and correct? A good answer names your criteria and applies them one at a time.
- What would you do if two guidelines seemed to disagree? A good answer asks, states a reasonable reading and says what you would note for the team.
- Why do you want this kind of work? A good answer is honest and specific, and links your skills to the job.
Set up your space
- Test your microphone and camera before you begin, and use a computer if the instructions ask for one.
- Choose a quiet room and let people around you know.
- Face a window or lamp so your face is lit.
- Close other programs and silence your phone.
- Read your resume once more beforehand, so dates and details are fresh.

Before you go on
PrepHint AI also has live answers. We could not confirm Alignerr’s rule on AI help from its own pages, so treat AI help as not allowed unless its rules clearly say otherwise. Whether you follow those rules is your decision and your risk. PrepHint AI supplies the software and is not liable for what happens on another platform.
PrepHint AI also works as an interview copilot on video calls, wherever AI help is allowed.
PrepHint AI is not connected to Alignerr. For other platforms, see the guide to AI-training job interviews.
